By definition, a startup is a young company that is just beginning to develop. It is usually small and is operated by a handful of people or one individual. Launching one isn’t easy and most startup fail to gain traction and eventually close down for business. In fact, as much as nine out of ten startups fail.
In order for your startup to prosper, you have to actively push it out in the market in front of as much people as possible. If you are like most startup founders, you don’t have much money to pay for advertising or to hire a PR agency. Good thing that there are places where you can submit your startup for it to gain publicity.
1. 10words
10words was created by Chris Beauchamp. The site has a simple interface that is easy to navigate and people can submit their startups here for free. “I really enjoy getting info about startups without marketing fluff or flashy graphics. We can tell right away if we want to check out a startup further, so why not cut straight to the point?” Says the site creator.
2. AllStartups
AllStartups.org is a D.I.Y user-generated content marketing media venture for founders and is also a platform where entrepreneurs can effectively promote their startup company. Their primary mission is to support, enable and encourage innovation by being the D.I.Y Media for entrepreneurs, companies everywhere.
3. AngelList
AngelList is a U.S. website for startups, angel investors, and job-seekers looking to work at startups. It was founded by Naval Ravikant and Babak Nivi in 2010. Business Insider dubbed AngelList the “Match.com for investors and startups”.

Betabound collects and organizes a variety of beta testing opportunities and present them in a structured and consistent format.
